ABOUT
WELCOME TO FIG HILL FARM
Our beautiful little farm is situated in the rolling hills of Glamorgan Vale, Queensland. A Moreton Bay Fig tree is perched on the highest hill overlooking the property. The view from under the tree is breath-taking. Standing under the tree, in awe of creation, reminds me of the magnitude of God's goodness and love for us. His hand is over all. What a blessing it is to live and work in this wildly rugged, diverse, awe-inspiring, stunning country we call home!
As a rural Australian artist I want to cherish the wonderful land we have been given that we are so much a part of. I want my art to be used to worship our Creator and to also create a deeper connection with our country and with each other.
A few years back I noticed so many beautiful Australian native florals and animals appearing on art and homewares in the big stores like Kmart and Target. But then when I checked where they had been made it was always overseas. It felt wrong somehow. We have SO MANY talented, hardworking, Australians producing top quality products here at home. We need to give them a fair go! I wanted to use my art to work together with other Australian businesses to bring you beautiful, quality products for your home that celebrate our amazing country, are easily accessible, and are as affordable as possible- while still ensuring that our makers are provided for and our land is being cared for.
I wanted to make it easy for you to join in and support small Australian business instead of big stores when it comes to filling your home with bush-inspired homewares and décor.
My art and products not only celebrate Australia, but are made in harmony with the land and it’s people. There is no better way to cheer on our country than by being ethically Australian made, top quality, by supporting the farmer and working in unity with other Australian businesses.
Love our land. Love our animals. Love our people.
Love. REPEAT.
May my art deeply move you and help you form a deeper connection with the beauty of our rich and rugged land, it’s animals and it’s people.
